In Celebration of International Education Day, the bank paid a courtesy visit to L.E.A. Primary School in Abuja in celebration of the International Day of Education. Our visit was both enriching and engaging as we had the opportunity to educate the pupils on the significance of financial literacy and gain insight into their current perspectives on financial education. In addition to this, we took the initiative to enhance the school's library by adding a diverse selection of books covering various subjects, as well as providing essential writing materials. As a special gesture, we presented back-to-school kits to all Two Hundred and Fifty (250) primary Six (6) pupils, aiming to support their educational journey and encourage a love for learning. It was a day filled with valuable interactions and shared knowledge.

The Bank used the occasion of the World Humanitarian Day in 2020, to organize visits to 10 orphanage homes across different regions to spend time with the children. During our visit, we also donated food items, toiletries and branded items.

The Accion MFB team led by Mr. Ndubuisi Onuoha, Head Savings & Value chain business visited Pacelli School for the blind and partially sighted children at Surulere Lagos. Accion MFB recognizes the human potential and talents the visually impaired and partially sighted persons possess.
It's in this regard that a talk on financial literacy and skills development was delivered to 180 pupils in the school, with the aim of giving them hope for a brighter future, and realization of their self-worth. The children were also given Back2School kit.

Accion Microfinance Bank as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts visited Wesley's Schools For Hearing Impaired Children to give hope to the children with impaired hearing. Accion MFB believes there is future for the children born with hearing loss because they are known to develop into very good listeners, storytellers, creative artists and excellent readers.
It is in the same regard this session was quite amazing as the Children responded positively to the presentation using sign language. The team led by Mr. Ndubuisi Onuoha, Head Savings & Value chain business also provided the kids with Back2School kit.

The school is a model for providing inclusive education. It is a center for an integrated and ideal learning environment for children with disabilities. The management of the school is resolved towards attaining the vision of the founder in providing a better learning environment and friendly atmosphere to children with special needs, most of whom having mental disabilities.
Accion Microfinance Bank to mark the international literacy day, gave out schoolbags to identify work Modupe Cole Memorial Child Care and Treatment Home School is doing. This is to enable kids with special needs realize full self-development of their human potential, have a sense of creativity, as well as trusting their mental and physical abilities, to achieve a brighter future.

Accion Microfinance team on 26th September 2018, true its mission lifted the spirits and created hope to over 358 pupils of Community Primary and Secondary, Oko Baale, Oju-Ore, in Ogun State. This was to mark the Celebration of the International literacy day, and provide children with Back2School kit.
The service quality manager Mr. Ayobami Ekwenuke, together with the branch management of Sango Ota and Ojuore outlets, delivered an interactive financial literacy session helping the kids understand the value of money and how Accion MFB can help them realize their dreams.

The area manager for Oyo Region Mr. Idowu Ajayi on the 27th September 2018, led the Accion MfB team to deliver a financial literacy talk to over 350 students of Una Primary School Ibadan to mark the Financial Literacy day which was on September 8th 2018. After the interactive session, the pupils received Back2School kit from Accion Microfinance Bank.

Corporate Social Responsibility is very important to us at Accion MfB as we support and empower communities around us. The driving philosophy and objectives of Accion MfB’s corporate social responsibilities is to affect the lives of the under privileged by spurring sustainable economic development in their lives to enable them improve their standard of living.
Our areas of CSR focus range is Education and this is premise on our belief that while empowering the parents to create wealth through our financial empowerment, the generation next should be equipped with solid education that will sustain the wealth.
At Accion MfB we are passionate about education and literacy which is evidenced by our support for various educational projects such as Jakin NGO, AIFA reading society (little writers’ award) and i-volunteer projects. We have also hosted students from various schools on Career Day where they had impacting sessions with our colleagues in various departments of the bank.
